Exterior Painting 

Maintaining your exterior painted surface can help keep your future maintenance costs lower by protecting the painted materials.  Our exterior painting process includes:

1. Surface Preparation – all loose paint is scrapped off, wood areas are sanded and patched, damaged stucco is repaired, rotted wood is replaced or repaired.

2. Priming – Primer is applied to the area to be painted.  This provides an impermeable seal and prevents stains, knots and wood tannins from showing through the paint. 

3. Painting - High quality paint(s) is applied to the area. 

4. Clean Up - The job site and perimeter of the home is cleaned. All paint chips, plastic tarps, masking tape, papers, and debris are hauled away.

Was your home built prior to 1978? 

Federal law requires all renovation, repair, and painting firms working on target housing and facilities where children are routinely present, built before 1978, to be certified for working with bead-based paint. Firm certification is a key requirement to ensure the training of individuals and the use of lead-safe work practices.
